The Library Journal was founded in 1876 by Melvil Dewey, and I believe that it will exist as long as there are librarians who do not realize that there is anything wrong with books about Knitting being mixed randomly with books about Crochet, Macrame, Embroidery and Weaving. Because its all “textile art” you know! If 746 was good enough Dewy, it should be good enough for you!
Oh yeah, and knife making is under the 621’s (applied physics); gun making is under the 682’s (blacksmithing); but books about swords are under the 796’s (Athletic & outdoor sports & games). Because, you know, what difference does it make?
The darnedest things make me grouchy >^_^<
